Tell us about your project
Since coming together in 2014, the ladies of Kimbolton have been doing some incredible work in fundraising their pledge of £100,000 for Action Against Cancer. To kick start their campaign they will be hosting ‘The Butterfly Ball’ on May 2nd 2015. With the big day nearly upon us, here at Joseph Benjamin Marquees we are honoured to be a part of their inspiring event at the Kimbolton Castle (please see image). The black tie event will include a live auction on the night and a silent auction running until 4th May, with all proceeds going straight to help find a cure for cancer.
Action Against Cancer is an incredible charity that fund the development of cures for cancer at the Imperial College, Hammersmith Hospital, led by Professor Justin Stebbing. The charities’ funds go towards ground-breaking programmes that focus on developing new diagnostics and treatments to improve the survival prospects and quality of life for millions of cancer sufferers worldwide. With one in three people in the UK now being diagnosed with cancer, not to mention how the families of those are affected, we should all try think a little like the ladies of Kimbolton, so that one day, we will beat cancer.
